Our Team

Dr. Sergiy Dariy received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St-Petersburg (former Leningrad) Veterinary Institute in 1992.

Being a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Ontario Veterinary Medical Association he developed extensive experience in medicine and surgery at a high technology multi-doctor practice in Texas, USA.

Working also as a Senior Research Scientist in Medical and Animal Laboratories of World Leading Research Facilities in France, Germany, Ukraine and USA established Dr. Dariy as THE Veterinarian.

His thorough professionalism in Clinical Research, Education, Patient and Client care in accordance with Good Clinical Practice directed Dr. Dariy toward his own Weldrick Animal Hospital to implement all gained experience, knowledge and work ethic to serve better our local community, to provide deserved service to our beloved pets.

His goal is to give all pets that extra care and attention they are worthy of. If your pet needs special care, or if you are looking for a veterinarian that creates a unique bond with his patients and their owners then he is the person to see.

Hi! My name is Ashley and I am the newest to join the Weldrick Animal Hospital team.

I graduated from the University of Guelph earning a Bachelors of Arts and Science degree. I have volunteered with animals both locally in Toronto and internationally in South Africa. I have loved animals from a young age and I am overjoyed to have been recently accepted to Ross Veterinary University.

I am very excited to work towards my dream of becoming a veterinarian and helping animals worldwide. I am looking forward to working at Weldrick Animal Hospital this summer and meeting all the wonderful clients and their adorable pets!

My name is Tatiana and I am currently work and a co-op student at Weldrick Animal Hospital. I have begun my placement in February 2015, and will be here until June 2015.

By coming to this clinic I am hoping to gain the knowledge and skills that would serve me in the future.

In the future I am looking forward to working in a medical field and becoming an anaesthesiologist, therefore observing the surgeries performed in this clinic provides me with much knowledge on how to properly put a patient under anaesthesia. As a child I grew up with many different pets, and I current have a furry friend at home who is named is Meela. Meela is a Ragdoll cat and is now also a patient at Weldrick Animal Hospital.

My name is Chibrik and I was born in May 2011. I am the main member of the team who supervises the Hospital when Dr. Dariy is not in yet.

Playing with members of your family is my main duty.

When you are here you will see many toys around the Hospital, which you are more then welcome to play with as I am always very glad to share them with you.
